Born in upstate New York, Pam spent her early years traveling with her “military” family through the Air Force. They lived in New York, Japan, Tennessee and the Philippines up through the time of her father’s retirement after 20 years of active duty, then settling the family in Fort Lee, Virginia. With three of the siblings away at college or married by this point, Pam’s mom, dad and younger sister moved to Ft. Rucker, Alabama, where her mom officially retired from Civil Service after completing 33 year of service.
Pam attended school in Nashville, Tennessee, where she also met the “Love of her Life”, Patrick. They were married in Hopewell, VA have been married 37 years. They have two adult children and three grandchildren in Oklahoma, her greatest treasures. They have lived and worked in Tennessee, North Carolina, Alabama, Indiana, Kentucky, South Carolina, Kansas and now South Dakota.
Pam’s love for the Church has always been firmly established through a rich family heritage, and also found within her service to the Free Methodist, Nazarene, and Wesleyan churches she has been part of. After 20 years of work in the medical field she had the opportunity to shift her focus to academia. Pam served as Administrative Assistant to the Dean of the Faculty at Nazarene Theological Seminary, in Kansas City, for 14 years. That prepared her for the transition to Rapid City two years ago, when her husband took a staff position with Fountain Springs Church. Pam has been working for John Witherspoon College since January 2016. She enjoys serving others through her love of cooking and baking.
