John Witherspoon College offers classical higher education in the Black Hills, providing students with excellent Christ-centered Learning, Living, and Leading.
The name “Generation Six Forty” has a two-fold meaning. First, the word “Generation” is to remind people of the students’ lives that will be impacted by JWC for generations to come. The “Six Forty” is taken from Luke 6:40, which reads “A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone, when he is fully trained will be like his teacher”. God has called this college to equip a new generation in developing godly citizen leaders who follow Christ’s example and teaching.
Our commitment to these young people is that they will get their degree debt-free. That’s unheard of in today’s educational world–when the average student debt for graduates last year was almost $33,000! That kind of commitment is simply not possible without people like you willing to invest in a new generation of Christ-centered leaders.
So let us ask you to consider a generous gift. We are grateful beyond words for the faithful prayers and gracious financial support of God’s people who believe in God’s work here at John Witherspoon College.
