March 2022 Fidelis Letter from the President
Dear JWC family and friends,
You are invited and encouraged to attend JWC’s annual Generation Six Forty (Luke 6:40) breakfast on March 29 or the dinner on March 31. Both events are free and will be held at the College Campus in Real Life Church at 4024 Sheridan Lake Road in Rapid City. You will have the opportunity to meet the College trustees, faculty, staff, and students. You will also hear several alumni tell how their JWC education has impacted their lives.
The Generation Six Forty events are the highlight of the College year and especially this year as JWC celebrates its tenth anniversary as a four-year degree granting, nationally accredited college. To RSVP for either event, please call the College at (605) 342-0317.
Thank you for praying and making a difference in the lives of the students at John Witherspoon College. They welcome you and would love to meet you. Thank you again.
Sincerely yours in Christ, Ronald Lewis President
31 Days of Prayer in March The JWC family has joined together in a special season of prayer for the month of March--praising God for who He is, praying for our students, faculty, staff, and board, and asking for God's provision for our needs. Pictured above is an impromptu prayer gathering for a student who experienced an emergency medical need. God was gracious to quickly return this student to health and back to class in time for mid-terms.
Please join us for JWC’s annual Generation Six Forty (Luke 6:40) fundraising breakfast on March 29 or the dinner on March 31. Both events are free and will be held at the College Campus in Real Life Church, located at 4024 Sheridan Lake Road in Rapid City. The breakfast buffet on Tuesday, March 29, will open at 6:30am, catered by Fork Real, followed by the program from 7:00-7:50am. The dinner buffet on Thursday night, March 31, catered by Olive Garden, will open at 6:30pm, followed by the program from 7:00-8:00pm.
We pray you will be inspired as you hear from alumni about how God prepared them to serve through John Witherspoon College. Our graduating class of 2022 will also share their plans and how their education at JWC has impacted them.
To RSVP for one of these free events, please call Pam Rider at (605) 342-0317 or email [email protected].

Students will meet such notable figures as Athanasius, Augustine, Aquinas, Luther, Calvin, Wesley, and many others.
Summer Term Rate: $100/credit hour, $50/audit hour
Registration opens April 4th. Call Pam at (605) 342-0317 to register. Don’t miss it!
ZACHARY McCULLEY graduated from Cornell University (B.S.) and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.) and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in History at Queen's University Belfast under the supervision of Professor Crawford Gribben. His research focuses on 17th century Protestant dissent in England. Over the past year he has been a Visiting Researcher at the Jonathan Edwards Center at Yale University under Professor Ken Minkema and will join the Visiting Assistant in Research Program in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Yale under the supervision of Professor Bruce Gordon during the 2022-2023 academic year.
