May 2024 Fidelis
Letter from the President |
“Blessed and Holy is the One who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years.” Revelation 20:6 NASB
Dear JWC Family,
In a world of chaos, we live with a simple reassurance that can only be found in the Christ Jesus:
We are a Resurrection People.
When hope seems lost, we are never without Hope. When plans fail, we are never lost to Providence. When tears fall, we are never beyond Joy. Because… we are a resurrection people. Similarly, we should remember that the Bible does not end, but rather concludes with a new beginning (Revelation 21:1-3). A restoration of life, creation, and fellowship with God into eternity. Fractures and failures in this world do not change the power of resurrection, and must not quell our hopes.
As I write this closing letter to Fidelis – “Faithful” – I am reminded and would remind you to be faithful to the truth of our Resurrection: in how we learn, in how we live, and in how we lead. Now, and forevermore.
May God’s blessings be upon you all.
In Him,

Presidential Invitation to Commencement May 10, 2024 6:30pm |
We will be having our closing Commencement on May 10th, 2024, and I would like to personally and formally invite you to join us for the occasion. While we will not have graduates, all of our students are commencing to their next work, and we want to support them as they do. I’m also excited to announce that we will be recognizing Dr. Nathan Hoefer’s successful earning of his Doctor of Philosophy in Bible Exposition and holding a “hooding ceremony” providing public recognition for his accomplishment.
The ceremony will include testimonies from across the JWC family, and we will be holding a social after the conclusion of the ceremony. Please join us in fellowship and celebration. |
